All the answers i have seen on this use the FS command and slide number to get flash talking with pp.

This is ok if the pp pres is never going to change, ie the number and position of the slides.

How do you pass a go to NEXT slide to pp rather than just the slide number ??many thanks in advance!

I’ve been wrestling with this one as well….creating a library of slides that will be rearranged by the sales team, so never know what the slide position is!Try putting an auto advance on the slide that holds the flash, timed to the duration of the flash piece.

Powerpoint will advance off the flash slide when “done”.

Note: this is not a great solution, because some PC’s are a little slower than others. Hopefully someone has some code….maybe declaring a variable that is determined by the current slide location and adding 1???

Howdy,You can code the fscommand two ways: 1) Pass the slide number. This is designed to send users to a specific slide.2) Pass the slide a random argument that simply tells it to advance to the next slide. You guys want number 2.If you need help with the code, just let me know.Hope that helps,Rick——————Rick Turoczyhome:

Yep i need help !!!I can get flash talking to PP with FScommand and passing a slide number but in the VB code I have tried ‘next’ ‘previous’

also using say .next etc with no joy.

I’m a complete novice with VB so I’m sure there must be a simple command i can use?

Any help on this would be appreciated.Thanksmike

OK … I have now sorted how to get a swf to move pp on to the next slide …It is basically the same as sending PP to a numbered slide except for a couple of things:in flash set up a button which could be programmed for either a mouse click or keypress and on these send an FS command with the command as send_var and the argument as empty speech marks ”.in PP put in the vb code :Private Sub ShockwaveFlash1_FS_Command (ByVal command As String, ByVal args As String)With SlideShowWindows(1).View.NextEnd WithEnd Subit is also possible to send PP to the previous slide aswell with .PreviousAll I have to work out now is how to send arguments from flash apart from empty speech marks so I can program different keypresses etc to move PP forward or backward ?Any suggestions on this greatly appreciatedmike
