Baby steps down the hall… baby steps to the nursery… baby steps to the crib… baby steps to sleeping through the night… (Yes, that’s a movie reference. My material’s a little light at 4:45 AM after fitfully sleeping on the floor of Sara’s nursery!) As our Flickr.com shows, Sara is a growing girl — not just in size, but also in abilities. I got to put my programming skills to work for something fun and surprisingly challenging — the annual Moore family Christmas gift exchange. Due to lack of time while we were in Dallas over the Thanksgiving holiday, we all forgot to draw names of whom we’d be giving a gift this Christmas — a wise way of managing gift-giving in a large family. As you might imagine, I do quite a bit of my shopping online, and with Sara around that’s doubly true now. I order everything from bras and baby gear to office supplies and geek gear (GPS units, cameras, etc.) online. I’m fine with having to…"Know Thy Customer"
request, I have posted some new photos of Sara in our Flickr gallery . There will be more photos to follow, of course, but considering these are the first photos I’ve posted since she was born, I consider this a major success. (The credit all goes to Justin for us even having any Sara photos on Flickr up until this point! I just have not been able to select, process and upload them in between…"Sprout Update"
